Publication Ethics Policy

The ICETMS Proceedings wants to make sure that everything they do is honest and fair. They want to be sure that all the research papers they publish are good and trustworthy. The ICETMS Proceedings follows an honest process when they publish papers from the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Studies.

This way the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Studies or ICETMS can be sure that all the research papers, from the ICETMS are credible and original. The ICETMS Proceedings has rules to follow. These rules apply to everyone who writes a paper reviews a paper edits a paper organizes the conference and helps publish the papers for the ICETMS.

Ethical Publishing Standards

The ICETMS Proceedings wants everyone who's part of the publication process to follow the rules that are accepted all over the world. These rules are, about being ethical and doing research in a way. When people send in their manuscripts the ICETMS Proceedings expects that the work is original and does not have any plagiarism. The manuscripts should not have any data or results that have been changed on purpose. The ICETMS Proceedings also does not want any content that's not ethical.

The proceedings are dedicated to promoting:

  • Academic honesty
  • Research transparency
  • Ethical scholarly communication
  • Responsible authorship
  • Fair peer review practices

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to ICETMS Proceedings must ensure that:

  • The work I am submitting is my own. It has not been published before.
  • The paper is not being considered by any journal or conference at the same time.
  • I have given credit to all the sources and references that I used.
  • The information and results in the paper are true and real.
  • Every person listed as an author did help with the research.
  • If there is anything that could be seen as a conflict of interest I am telling you about it now.
  • The paper follows the rules for doing research and publishing in a way.

Authors must avoid:

  • Plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate publication
  • Improper authorship practices
  • Copyright infringement

If someone does not follow the rules, for publishing their paper might be rejected away or taken out of the proceedings.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are very important in keeping conference publications good and honest. Reviewers are supposed to:

  • Do unbiased reviews
  • Keep submitted papers secret
  • Give feedback on the academic side
  • Not personally attack authors
  • Find references that are not cited when needed
  • Tell if they think someone copied anothers work or did something wrong
  • Say if they know the author or have a problem, with the paper before agreeing to review it
  • Reviewers should not use information they get from reviewing papers for their benefit.

Responsibilities of Editors

The people in charge of ICETMS Proceedings make sure that everything is fair and honest when it comes to publishing.

The editors have a lot of work to do. They are supposed to:

  • Look at the papers that are sent in and decide if they are good enough based on what they're about and how well they are written
  • Keep everything that is sent in a secret
  • Make sure they are not biased when they make decisions
  • Avoid doing anything that could be seen as wrong
  • Do something about it if someone is not being honest
  • Make sure the system of getting peoples opinions on papers is fair

When the editors make decisions they do not pick favorites based on where someone is, from or what they believe in. The editors do not care about what country the people who send in papersre from or if they are a man or a woman. The editors also do not care about what school the people who send in papers go to or what they think. ICETMS Proceedings editors just want to make sure everything is fair and honest.
