Peer Review Policy

The ICETMS Proceedings is really committed to keeping the standards of academic quality, research integrity and ethical publishing when it comes to conference paper publication. As a platform that is recognized internationally and associated with the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Studies all the manuscripts that are submitted go through a rigorous peer review process before they are accepted and published.

Our review system makes sure that every research paper that is published in the proceedings adds something to the global academic and research community.

The ICETMS Proceedings follows a Double-Blind peer review policy. This means that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept secret throughout the evaluation process. This approach helps to make sure that everything is fair, objective and unbiased when it comes to assessing all the submissions that are received for the conference proceedings.

Each manuscript that is submitted for conference paper publication is reviewed by experts who're qualified in the relevant subject area.

Before a manuscript can enter the peer review stage it has to go through an editorial screening. The editorial team checks to make sure that the manuscript:

  • Is relevant to the scope of the conference
  • Complies with the manuscript formatting guidelines
  • Is original and of good academic quality
  • Has a proper structure, references and citations
  • Adheres to the ethical publication standards

If a manuscript does not meet the minimum quality or formatting requirements it may be sent back to the authors to correct or it may be rejected during the preliminary review stage.

The ICETMS Proceedings uses criteria to evaluate each research paper. These criteria include:

  • How original and innovative the paper is
  • The significance and contribution of the research
  • The scientific quality of the paper
  • The methodology and data accuracy
  • How clear the presentation is
  • How relevant the paper is to multidisciplinary research areas
  • The quality of the references and citations

The peer review process helps to make sure that all the accepted papers meet the standards that are expected for high-quality conference paper publication in an international conference proceeding.

When the reviewers have finished evaluating a manuscript the editorial committee may decide to:

  • Accept the submission
  • Accept it with minor revisions
  • Accept it with revisions
  • Reject the submission

Sometimes authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on the comments from the reviewers before the manuscript can be finally accepted.

The ICETMS Proceedings is very strict about following publishing practices to preserve the credibility of scholarly communication. All submissions are checked for plagiarism, duplicate publication and unethical research practices.

The proceedings will not accept papers that involve:

  • Plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate submissions
  • Copyright violations
  • Research conduct

Being transparent and having integrity is a very important part of the international conference publication process.

All manuscripts that are submitted for conference paper publication are treated as documents. Reviewers are expected to evaluate papers in a way and avoid being biased having conflicts of interest or misusing unpublished information.

The editorial board makes sure that all review decisions are made based on the academic merit originality and relevance of the manuscript to the conference themes.

The final decision about whether to publish a manuscript in the ICETMS Proceedings is made by the editorial committee after they have carefully considered:

  • the comments from the reviewers
  • the quality of the revised manuscript
  • whether the manuscript complies with the standards
  • the overall contribution of the manuscript to multidisciplinary research

The accepted papers are published in the official proceedings of the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Studies.

The ICETMS Proceedings is committed to providing a trusted platform for researchers, academicians, scientists and professionals who are looking for conference paper publication opportunities through a recognized international conference.
