Plagiarism Policy

The ICETMS Proceedings is committed to keeping standards of academic integrity and honest conference paper publication. We want all submitted papers to be original and not copied from sources.

Each paper is checked using software like Turnitin and iThenticate before experts review it. The authors are responsible for citing and acknowledging all sources they used.

Acceptable Similarity Index

  • A similarity score of less than 20% is considered acceptable.
  • Similarity from references, quotations, technical terms and standard phrases does not count.
  • Papers with much copied content may be rejected right away

Unacceptable Practices

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Direct plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate submission/publication
  • Unattributed copied content

The ICETMS Proceedings can reject, withdraw or retract any paper that breaks publication ethics or plagiarism rules.

We support high-quality research publication, for academics and conference communities worldwide.
